The ship commissioned manufactured by Kinmen County Fisheries Research and designed by National Cheng Kung University. Its main purpose is to collect information on the type of Kinmen coastal fisheries to understand the species and their distribution scenarios.(Discontinued, It can be designed in accordance with the needs of new ship.)
As a result of fisheries research purposes so fishing equipment on board is configured to cover the need of Kinmen County fishermen along the main use of offshore equipment its containing tuna longline and trawl and lights etc. The ship is equipped with a complete navigation equipment on board .Jinmen sea waves can be collected each season, wind speed and the distribution of fish species also to understand the habits of coastal fish each. There is a need to gradually reduce the protection of species can advance the prevention and advocacy, so that aquatic resources to achieve the objective of sustainable utilization.
